Why does maxillary setback shorten philtrum

I thought thought the philtrum would become more flat yet it became more concave (shorter)....
Any ideas why?
BTW massive lifefuel

They made her less reccesed from what i can see via ccw rotation, which also shortened the midface and such

A slight setback wouldn't be that bad of a move because the maxilla in reccesed people is usually longer than in that of normal healthy people

Yes well its more the lefort 2 and 3 area thats underprojected and the lf1 area is overprojected
