Ironing has no effect on hair growth. Just hair quality if you go overboard with the heat.
Now, id go for traction alopecia and another condition I dont recall very well.

Probably from braiding their hair their whole life. Also they already naturally have huge foreheads. I bet a black women in an African tribe that has never braided wouldn't have such a bad hairline
