Why does my asymmetry look so bad in pictures ,but i don't even notice my asymmetry when i look in the mirror?

I look good when i look in the mirror ,but when i take pictures from myself i look like the biggest subuman due to my asymmetry .Why is my asymmetry bigger in pictures then when i just look at my mirror reflection ?And what represents more how other people see me?

u are just not used to it, showed two of my pics to my friend, one was flipped (how they see me irl) and one was selfie(mirror) and he said i look better in the flipped one (the ones he is used to)

Photos show true orientation. You like the mirror more because it shows flipped orientation, what you're more used to. Lens distortion will make your asymmetries more visible I guess, but it would be noticeable in the best camera, angle, etc. you could find. In motion, asymmetry is hard to notice.

TL;DR: you're just not used to your flipped face.

Irl asymmetry is not noticeable unless very very severe so dont worry
