Why does my eyes look different in mirror?

When I look at my eyes in a photo,even above eye level,it looks like I have neutral or negative canthal tilt,yet when I look in the mirror,both my eyes look more compact,and are positively tilted.
Any potential reasons why? And Is the mirror or photo more accurate?
