why does my face look so much lean than before even with the same bodyfat?

I have pictures from two years ago where I had the same percentage of fat as I have now, which is around 17%, and my face was much fatter than it is now, before I got back to 17% bf I did cutting to 10% where I've never been so thin. Do you think the fat distribution has changed?

There could also be a couple percent difference that you'd be unable to measure with your current equipment as well as being less bloated from water now.
