Why does my voice fluctuate so much?

Some days it raises by like half an octave. (a lot.) Stress and poor sleep usually do that, but that doesn't always seem to be the cause. Anything else that could cause the voice to fluctuate? Could it be puberty/hormone related? I just wouldn't expect hormones to make such a difference, so rapidly. My voice can change a lot, even by the hour, sometimes. And I don't think hydration is the cause. Inflammation, maybe? Does anyone else experience this?

Maybe recessed jaws affect timbre, Idk how that would affect pitch though.
