yup the mere exposure effect is why you see sometimes hot girls with nerd guys or "ugly guys (just normies that aren't usper attractive)"
and when you see beckies or low tier beckies with chads, that's what "social circle maxxing" is, you hang out around them enough till they actually don't care about your face anymore and is used to it
