Why does redness of my face disappear after one hour after microneedling/dermastamp?

No matter how hard I stab it the redness disappears after 1 hr which makes me wonder if it’s actually working. What could be the reason?

im gonna write everything it might be and then you can just cross it out

- didnt go deep enough to trigger long inflammation
- skin may have low inflammatory response
- used something with vasoconstrictors (like a numbing cream)
- you wiped it with alcohol
