alr will do appreciate any fire suggestions bro ty. Grew up literally only listening to rap and tbh, rock just has so much more range and could invoke much harder emotions. Raps more for a comfortable+normie backround aesthetic but its so boring.

I like the early '90s shoegaze that started the genre like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, The Verve, etc. I also love the groups that mix shoegaze with other genres like ambient or experimental, like Lovesliescrushing.

That sounds like the louder, alternative rock type of shoegaze, it's heavier than what I usually listen to but Catherine Wheel, Swervedriver, Whirr, many others especially nowadays sound like that. I love Catherine Wheel's first two albums, Ferment and Chrome.
