Why does the haikyuu anime stop at season 4?

I was watching it on Netflix, peak show would recommend but I have a gripe where the anime was getting to the rematch between Nekoma and Karasuno, yet suddenly it's cut off after 25 episodes and no apparent continuation??

I know there's apparently a movie thats a sequel and shit, but why tf would they make it a movie when it could've been part of the next season? I swear sometimes anime can be weird like that

But yeh I noticed it with one piece as well where they have like hundreds of episodes than some arcs like the prison arc are turned into a "movie" even though it technically is just episodes piled on top of one another
