Why does the skin look more vibrant and smooth after shaving?

Has anyone else noticed this? Does the razer remove a layer of dead skin cells? Is it like micro needling where it encourages the growth of collagen? It should be added that I shave without any cream

Maybe because there is less hair? also you will wash your face after too so...

i am tired of shaving cause i waste money and get stubble in 2 days anyways
i just use trimmer
