If the cryptofags are right that bitcoin will be widely adopted, why can't blockchain be applied to fiscal currency instead of creating a brand new currency in order to use it?

The widespread adoption BTC as world currency makes no sense and why I believe it will go to zero.

Crypto sucks, its not stable by its nature

It’s called CBDC

Soon you will use it. You will own nothing. You will be surrounded by dirty stupid immigrants that you will have to financially support.

And you will be happy.

Lol you are retarded, the central principle of bitcoin is decentralization. Fiscal currencies are the exact opposite of decentralized, as they are controlled by a central bank.

It doesn't, it already has what it needs, alipay and we chat pay are that, cbdc just make it more palatable for normies.

It needs am asset class that is decentralized and deflationary, not saying bitcoin is it (it may be), but it's what's needed

Decentralisation

No one controls bitcoin

Bitcoin from my current knowledge could never function as a global currency. It is simply too decentralized to be controlled, which is actually a bad thing because governments will have much more limited options to control recessions for example, which could easily turn into a depression.

it's value proposition is a store of value, not a currency

That still wouldn’t have changed the fact that bitcoin is still too decentralized though correct? To be honest I am still very now to macroeconomics and especially bitcoin.

decentralisation is a good thing, it can't be too decentralised

bitcoin is not trying to replace fiat
