Here he is next to a 6'4" and 6'5" guy while being further away from the camera. Obviously he looks shorter but he doesn't look massively shorter in spite of what should be a 9 inch and 10 inch height differential.
Here he is next to a guy who was measured at 6'8.75" shoe height ( so probably like 6'7.5" barefoot ).
Obviously in this case he is a lot shorter, but keep in mind this should be about a foot of height difference.
Here he is next to 6'4" Aaron Sanchez.
Marcus Stroman when he first came into the MLB was listed at 5'9" but he himself claims he is 5'7" and his height (HDMH) is a big part of his trademark and image, yet he doesn't look that short when standing next to large athletes and he looks bigger than other players who are listed around that height in MLB. Could he be downplaying his own height while other players are adding an extra inch? Or does he just have good proportions/frame/build and posture that it makes him look taller than he really is?
