If facial structures (like maxilla shape) change over time in different populations due to environmental adaptation, why doesn’t sexual attraction evolve to match those changes? For example, East Asians often have flatter midfaces, yet studies suggest both within and outside the group there's still preference for more developed maxillas. Shouldn’t attraction adapt alongside physical changes for evolutionary efficiency?
