In nature isn't it the lower the life expectancy of a species/group the higher the birth rates are to compensate? At least that's what I think without doing any proper research

I wouldn't really consider abortion part of nature, more so the conditions that are met due to lower life conditions causing males to impregnate more females

Because we only care about parties, gossips, alcohol, weed, tabacco, soccer, Reggaeton and Narcos
Fuck kids tbh they will learn one way or another

More sons = more breadwinners/possible sources of income. Basically they're just playing numbers game and hoping one of the kids turns out successful.
With daughters in many cultures the daughter's family gets dowry from her husband so there's monetary incentive there too.

I do agree people should have less kids though, not everyone is fit to be a parent and breed.
