Why don't people rep posts that are actually funny?

I can't think of any specific examples right now, but there will often be an extremely funny post with little or no reps surrounded by posts with high rep. Like, niggas just ignore that post and rep the latter of unfunny posts.

One time I saw an EXTREMELY cage worthy post in a thread and I deadass laughed out loud for a minute straight, just to realize the post had only one JFL react. Both the posts on above and below it had about 6+ JFL reacts despite being mediocre at best.
