Why don’t people who preach about killing all rapists go out and really do it?

You see more and more only on how people think all rapists/pedophiles/predators deserve to die. This should be a common opinion obviously, so not defending preds. But why don’t people take action and kill their local pedophile? The sex offender registry is open to all people and it would be really easy to do. I’m man enough to admit I don’t want to go out of my way to take a human life. Can that change? Possible, but I think the people who actually can should get rid of those shitstains.

Because of the consequences but you do hear about rapists getting hurt/killed in prison often
