BJJ girls see as gay and like Karate (even tho it’s obv a top 5 martial art if ur knowledgeable) if u wanna learn a fighting sport purely for girls do boxing. For skill wrestling or Muay Thai. But bro if ur young please join one nobody regrets it ever
I'll look into it again but yeah doing it purely for skill/self defense do not care about girls tbh.

would u say that boxing is a sport that favors the defensive fighter? because ive watched it before & it seems very hard to score if the guy just run around and hug u

It differs opinions fighter to fighter but despite the fact I am an attacking style fighter . Defensive is usually better for winning without any sort of KO

i am not interested in boxing as a sport but i wanna learn the art of fighting. should i hire a coach 1v1 and ask him to spar with me in a way that doesnt include these lame tactics?

Idk where u live but brass knuckles are good too
Too lethal and close range, you cant fight a guy with a knife with brass knuckles, if someone oulls out a knife you can't do shit.

bro u can’t learn how to street fight unless u have one. If u wanna know how to fight best way is to yes higher a specialist coach on a one on one basis to teach u that specialist skill. Learn mma if u wanna know how to grapple strike etc all in one

I've trained Judo before and then quit due to shitty regulations and rules

I don't think you understand
These so called fighting sports have to be started from at a fairly young age, like 11 or 12. You cannot be 19/20 and start to box.

Came here to get fightpilled. Got Heightpilled instead :lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul::lul:

Also, you get respect from it because you’re in highschool. Social classes aren’t established yet. No one moneymogs anyone. Even if their parents are rich it probably won’t translate into their lives at that age.

At my age, fighting sports won’t get respect from successful people whom I want to be friends with.

What I’m interested in is getting respect from higher class, respectable men. Not some scum who still goes to a boxing gym at his 30s. (A generalized example, there might be successful individuals who do fighting sports but lets be real it’s usually turbo poors getting into a fighting sport/bodybuilding/powerlifting etc.)

TLDR I am oldcel.

This advice is only applicable to kids 12 and under. I did combat sports for years. It didn't get me any more girls, and hardly improved my confidence, even when I got decent.

Those things are all determined by temperament etc. And from your early teens, assuming a typical puberty, temperament is hard-wired.

Combat sports are just a good way to burn calories & improve your mental health (you feel great after training). It's also good to know some self defence ig

I am a debuted professional (at u18) boxer and this is genuinely one of the biggest statusmaxxes oat. The aura u get is insane. Girls want a protecter, trust me get good at a “masculine” sport like Muay Thai KBX or boxing and girls will flock to u and guys will give u much more respect. (This only applies if ur at least middleweight)
try experiencing real love by slaying cause of status:feelsgood:
