"why don't you party?" - my mom

my mom asked me why i wouldn't party.

she had a talk with my old friends' mothers and realized they all went partying every weekend.
partying is her thing too so she was super disappointed in me;

"do you not get invited? why don't you party like we used to do at your age?", she asked me.

i told her it was because i don't really wanna socialize until i manage to get hold of my money (which she locks away from me) and start ascending.

i basically told her that yeah, it's indirectly her fault if i'm not partying to which she replied "oh yeah haha... i'm such a BAD mother, i'm 'ruining your life'!!"

like no foid, don't try irony with me...
my best days were your worst so sybau.
