Why even make a feature to delete accounts if it’s so easy to return?

Literally the most useless feature in the world

it used to be that if you deleted ur account that was the end of the line. You can never come back, so there were actual consequences

Then they made it so u can come back in a year. Ok, that’s fair. I mean, it’s a reasonable amount of time for there to still be consequences

then it was changed to 6 months. Then 3 basically.

Now you have mods practicing necromancy and bringing deleted accounts from the dead, like Ed676 before his dumbass deleted again.

like why even have delete account feature if it’s so easy to just come back anyways
