Because cheekbones are what hold a face together. With below average cheekbones there's a good chance your face is just going to droop and prematurely crease. Good cheek augmentation saves lives.

Do you think flat zygos is to never be loved?

I feel there are some failos an actual good looking guy (HTN-Chadlite range) can get away with but poor zygos is not one of them. Having an underdeveloped zygomatic region + underdeveloped infras looks ghoulish. Developed infras with 0 zygos looks cucked at best due to the narrowness of the face. You can however get away with a lack of infras as long as you have strong zygos. Some people think someone like Zurzolo (pictured right) is an anomoly for lacking undereye support but still looking good but in reality his zygos are quite wide and robust.
