Body composition beats leaning down to below 10% body fat and crossing your fingers for hollow-cheeks imo.

Your body uses the food you eat more efficiently the more muscle you have. Meaning, the nutrients etc you get from your food go towards your muscle and this means you don't inflate your fat storage. If you inflate your fat storage, it starts appearing on your cheeks.

That's why excessive cardio and fasting is only effective/useful for those who are overweight or obese and want to lose an extreme amount of weight in a short frame of time. Build muscle, then you'll be able to better distribute fat around your body and in only "necessary" areas.

You won't have love-handles, chubby thighs/buttocks, arms, man tits etc. That's why women are encouraged to use weights, they need a bit of muscle. Also notice how it is said women hold more body fat than men, relatively speaking? It's because they have less muscle, so the food they eat has less to fuel. The food needs to be used for something other than just bone and teeth lol.

Once you have great body composition, you can then lean down to like 15% and still look fucking sick. Especially if you're 5'11+. I know because I am 5'8 and was somewhat muscular, with around 15-16% body fat.

Besides all that ^ you need frame anyway. (Shoulders chest and arms)

Fasting isn't for weight loss but for health and discipline reasons.

Fasting is most beneficial and effective for weight loss or if you follow Islam.

Body-Builders, Fitness Models etc simply deplete themselves of carbs, they don't fast.

Is it healthy to fast? I guess? It's certainly healthy for the mind.

I've lost a shit-load of weight during quarantine after letting myself go a little over the last year or two and through HIIT and fasting, my mental clarity has fucking gone up-there. But now the fat's gone and I am almost pretty much at a regular BMI, if I carry on with the weight-loss, I will simply be putting myself through needless suffering. Hence I've started building-up muscle again, borrowing my neighbours weights who is too lazy to use them.

For the TLDR audience: When you lift, you can be a little more flexible with your diet. A lot more, infact.

Prove that statement with pictures of someone who has good frame with weak shoulders and strong back.

What is in a woman's peripheral vision as she looks at you in the face?

Your shoulders or your back?

Wide back literally makes your shoulders wider

You talking about rear delts and rear traps? Delts are shoulders. Traps sit on-top of your shoulders but are also attached to your back.

Show me an example of what you mean?

Edit: I agree you need back for frame. Absolutely, but you can't put it ahead of shoulders ffs LMAO

Haven't changed my mind, as they are saying nothing which suggests your back is more important to your frame than your shoulders. They are simply saying (In parts) that in order for you to maximise your shoulders, you need a stronger back to help you out.

the shoulder muscles are relatively small, your lats are one of the biggest muscles in your body, building lats adds a lot more to your perceived width than building shoulders. Though of course this is a pointless discussion because you should be working both, a lot. And forearms

I take that, but what are more stand-out when you have your shirt/top on though? You aren't going many places topless.

Again this is a pointless discussion because very rarely does anyone have super disproportionate delts to traps but I'll indulge anyways. I actually have a pretty good amount of muscle, I've lifted for a decade and I take roids. My back was always a strong point but delts used to suck. I've brought them up a lot over the years and they're pretty decent now but in clothes you can barely tell the difference.

Just take my word for it dude lol
