First you should get a circle of cool friends, and do cool stuff with them, like going to parties, trips, events, concerts, etc., and then when you get a girlfriend, she will see you too as cool.

Back when I was in college, I had a girlfriend, and some cool college friends, we all hanged out together like one big family, went to nightclubs, bars, theaters, museums, trips, we did all sorts of stuff together, 90% of the time I've spent with my girlfriend was also with these other people.
But then college was over, everyone moved away back in their towns or other places, and suddenly it was only me and my gf. No more parties, no more trips, no more fun, things immediately became boring. She just came to my house, we had sex and that was it.... I had another circle of friends from high-school, but these were nerds, we just played video-games and watched movies together.
Anyway, she eventually dumped me, and left me pretty confused about the whole situation, I literally had no idea what could I do to get back the same lifestyle I had in college, having a social circle of cool people is very important!

Tbqh I made bad decisions in my teenage years
I chose to hang out with a bunch of low energy losers, I always invite them to do things but they prefer to rot instead of traveling or going to parties, they are truly my friends but they are too fucking boring
