No child believes in God until an adult puts the idea of God in their head and brainwashes them

It's called indoctrination

If God actually existed, the kid would know intuitively, there wouldn't be need for someone else to put it in their head

If you have above average iq and some critical thinking skills it should be common sense that god doesn’t exist or atleast any god that we talk about. I think if their is a god/creator it is something we could never even fathom and he definitely wouldn’t concern his self with sending humans to a heaven or hell
Lmao

Correct

If nobody ever thought of it themselves then who started the chain? Obviously God did if no human came up with it

Not a leftist or commie.
But Marx had a good idea in calling religion "the opiate of the masses".
It gives humans the strength to carry on in dire situations. Also there's the whole concept of death that people really fear. (And that being the absolute end being something that some people have a hard time swallowing).
Besides that yes people have been grifting others since the dawn of humanity even in tiny cults.

This logic doesn't really make sense bro using this logic things we can't see such as oxygen doesn't exist and we only believe it because scientists show us. Although I would say I believe in God I honestly on a path into figuring out why life is the way it is if he exists. Idk fully obviously I am not a scholar or anything

Scientists haven't showed me what an oxygen looks like
so why do you believe them oxygen is real or that it is how we breath (this is a theoretical question obviously oxygen is real)

It can be proven using methods that are man made bro
Theres still no man made proof of God though is there

Science is universally accepted because it is logical

Religions and ideas of God contradict each other

Theres a reason nobody goes around saying oxygen has 100 electrons

Fair point, honestly I don't know. We can't say he exists or doesn't we don't really know. We just have to wait and see and try not be a ass while we are here I suppose.

and what makes u think scientists dont lie to u
What would scientists gain by telling me oxygen has 8 electrons

Which can be proven btw if you really wanted to

Use ur fucking brain

If you don’t believe what a scientist says u can prove it urself

Agreed, though I believe in a higher power that when we die, we do get revealed to eternity beyond our comprehension. Though I truly do not believe in heaven and hell, I do believe in an afterlife beyond our comprehension. It would be foolish to believe this is it, though i wake up everyday feeling as though if there was a heaven, this is heaven there is a so called "god" just not the one portrayed by the media.

I don’t believe in god, but this seems like a pretty fucking horrible argument.

Little kids don’t believe in science either, because they’re fucking stupid, does that mean science doesn’t exist, because someone needs to teach them first?

Thought about this myself today.
And these abrahamic religions tell you, the other person goes to hell, simply because they have a different believe system.
These religions that got spread by the sword.
And if you stop believe in it, you go to hell.
Oooohh you need saving (same belief) or go to hell.:feelskek:

They get religion put in their head.
And told, if they stop believe in it, they burn in hell for eternity.
There is no proof, only repetition.
And repetition is the fundament of brainwashing.

I mean, if not from your parents, then where? It popped into your head? this argument above finds that we would intuitively know. was that the case or did you find the idea from someone else?

Not true actually. Children have a natural inclination to one God from birth. Look it up

Justin Barrett study debunks this 😹
"All across the board, children thought the historical narratives were true. When it came to religious stories, predictably children raised in religious settings classified them as true, while kids raised in secular setting classified them as fictional. What was most interesting to Corriveau, however, was how children classified the fantastical story: while secular children classified it as pretend 87 percent of the time, religious children only did so about 40 percent of the time. To Corriveau, this suggests that “religious children have a broader conception of what can actually happen.” In other words, she told me, “religious exposure may influence the way in which children mark the boundary between factual and fictional, allowing for a more likely suspension of disbelief.”"
