Why has my ramus gone softer?

The first picture is from around a year ago and the second one is from today. Other than my skin being more inflamed I noticed my ramus has gone softer. I know the lighting in the first pic is carrying but through images from last year my ramus was a lot harder. Why is this? How do I fix it?

u were turning ur neck to one side way harder in the first pic, better lighting, and u look a bit leaner.
