Everything happened after WW2 really. White people took a deep breath by killing 80m people and focused on other stuff.

All technology started from the field of physics. Specifically Thermodynamics was important for the industrial revolution.

So why did people not develop the field of physics faster? Thats the interesting question here

High IQ post. If science says modern homo sapiens first appeared around 300,000 years ago, it's hard to believe they did not progress much until recorded history which is less than 10,000 years old. We got to this point in civilization very recently, in a such short timeframe. Makes you think what those old humans could've achieved before in the rest of the 290,000 years.

It's either there's a lot being hidden from us () or that modern humans/the world isn't that old.
