i think a decently large reason people hate gays (i don't hate them necessarily but i'd never associate or know one willingly) is cause they have kids

people have kids because they want a future in themselves beyond their death, causing people to want a lineage

however, if a gay person interacts with yiur lineage, it's possible someone down the line in your lineage will be gay and not have kids, ending it

so they dont hate gay people inherently, only due to the potential threat of imposing their beliefs and ending your lineage, the thing carrying you into the future, because of this they want no gay people to risk this

personally i can somewhat see it, since i think at an individual scale being gay is bad and against my beliefs, but at the end of the day higher chance of me dating girls due to less competition

as long as you can instill your lineage to be straight and avoid gay people, or at least preachy ones, i don't really mind them existing
