Ofc we know all the ways it can be a blessing, but it’s also such a curse

“He who has a strong enough why, can bear almost any how”

Someone with high pattern recognition needs the most convincing “why” possible in order to get up and put up a fight in life

And unfortunately there are very few the closer you look

So they see the ultimate futility in everything, even in situations where there’s a 1% chance for success (which, when it comes to true success, describes most paths since the probability is “priced in”), and end up just doing nothing
