At the moment, I have very dry skin around my body, I have to consistently moisturise quite often, especially after showers despite using mild temperatures. But what bugs me the most is on my face I have always had clogged pores and especially so super visible many black heads on my nose and into my infraorbital area.
To be honest and clear, I haven't done much research but what I am going to do is go to the pharmacy tomorrow and get some salicylic acid to work on that but I have been deciding between topical tretinoin or isotretinoin (roaccutane) I have pretty much decided why and I willl explain below.

I have an accutane source, I don't mind about how it will effect liver etc. It's my basic understanding of roaccutane that's putting me off, and how its main mechanism is shrinking sebaceous glands across the whole body, but my skin in general is already super dry. It would make sense to go with topical tret and just apply to my nose and the other areas with the black heads to get its localised effect, and keep the rest of my skin normal.

I know isotretinoin is considered the holy grail among you guys but I just theorise it would be worse on my already dry skin.

Let me know what you guys think.
