Why I can only bench like 80 kgs

I can only do 80 kgs for 3 reps I think 90 kg as my one rpm but still so weak

That's not bad at all. If you are 65-70 kgs I'd say it is is pretty decent bench

That's the problem I weight 90 kgs and 1 rpm is 90 kgs imo it's bad compared to deadlift I did like 180 kgs

Watch yotalk’s or Clark Kent’s video on it he explicitly explains it, if that’s not enough I can eventually make a guide on it maybe

Start doing triple pauses then or if you got someone to help you can do heavy negatives

real, this is why i stopped benching and just do overhead press now 😫

Push press to set up heavy negative mogs
I mean I can do on smith machine but it's always occupied

It's decent 80kg for reps if you are still a beginner if you can rep it for 8+ then your 1rm is 100kg which is solid intermediate strength

It's decent 80kg for reps if you are still a beginner if you can rep it for 8+ then your 1rm is 100kg which is solid intermediate strength

Jfl with that it's horrible dude you should have been easily over 120kg 1rm
That's the issue my other lifts are progressing like 180 kgs deadlift 120 kg squat 1 rpm also progressing on both but bench is stuck

Like were you consistent ? did you hit the gym atleast 3-4x a week throughout those 3 years not super consistent either just enough that you didnt took 2-3 months off the gym entirely
also bench is a lot about technique not raw strength do lat pulldowns before doing benchpress and you will see the numbers go up

powerlifters literally start with 100kg as their warm up set 100kg for a powerlifter is what 135lbs is for you

Why my strength is still increasing I just think it will take sometime I only did bench today mostly dbs pr is 35 kgs 7 reps

shit doesnt add up assuming you meant incline dumbell press then 35kg for reps is solid as incline and dumbell both are more difficult than flat and barbell
take some time off benchpress dont do it for 2 weeks then do it again your strength will actually increase

I did flat 35 kg dbs for 7 reps
