Why i dislike having male friends

the idea of loyalty, or "bros before hoes" is a concept of the past. nowadays a lot of the men i hang out with become completely different people when women are around. they become divisive, critical, comedians at my expense and just generally do everything in their power to try and make me look bad.

a friend yesterday becomes a stranger when he is with another woman. a stranger yesterday will become a friend when i am with a woman.

my roommate has become an insufferable asshole as soon as the new girl moved in. before i just let him say whatever, but overtime it is actually starting to bother me. i cant even defend myself because it will make me look argumentative and sensitive. the worst part of it is, she will not stand up for me when i am getting endlessly teased and belittled but will speak up when i defend myself.
