Some users genuinely think before every post “how can i get the most reps from this”. I dont understand this mindset. Post-rep maxxers, firstly no one actually cares about your reps, they look at it for a second when they click on your profile and then forget about it a second later.
What im more concerned about is my connections/reputation in the literal sense. I may have a worse post to rep ratio than the post-to-rep maxxers, but whats important is whether users remember me. Whether users associate me with a strong character. Whether they recognise the brand, they see the name, the avi and associate it with humour or interesting takes.
There are not many users on .org… you stumble upon the same ones often. No one cares about numbers on a screen, they care about how you made them feel.
