Back when I was a kid and food was scarce in Romania, some people actually raised chickens or rabbits in their apartments, it wasn't an uncommon sight seeing outside in the streets a guy cutting a chicken's throat, even children or teens would do this.
Yeah my family at one time when I was a kid raised chickens too, the sight of a chicken getting his head cut off with an axe was traumatizing for a kid. Brutal world we live in

What do you mean, all of us kids back then saw slaughtered animals and it didn't traumatize us, my grandparents lived in a rural area and I also saw pigs or sheep slaughtered, for the people living in the village it was something ordinary.
It didn't really traumatize me but still fuck that shit seeing animals getting their head butchered especially when you was a kid and when you raised those little chickens , you know what I mean?
