Now, as for some context I have done a few social studies (including studying what people find attractive) and I found out a few things that essentiallly make any study
useless mostly (expanded on in my book but this is a rough simplification)

1: Control groups don't exist in social studies.
Pretty much self explanatory, even when they say they are included its very hard to verify their legitimacy because people lie.

2: A lot of them have the problem of false causality
Think those studies that tell you how much people are unemployed after college, or not employed in their respective field.
They almost never take into account:
- The mental health of the people asked
- The place they live vs their major (aka how much jobs where their major would benefit them exist in their area)
- Where the studies are done (poor area vs rich area)
- The stage of life or other circumstances (for example, someone who just graduated might have not even tried much to find a job in their field, another person might be a dude who got his gf pregnant so he has to work blue collar shit for 10 hrs a day not because he cant physically find a job in his field but because it would require experience to get a job that allows him to support a family.
Basically they say people from a certain major don't get jobs (eg sociology or any social studies stuff, comp sci etc) COMPLETELY IGNORING EXTERNAL FACTORS

3: You cannot study anything that has even a 5% chance of bias.
Take attractiveness for example. Throughout history people have thought of different things as attractive that are now considered ugly, any you might think that doesn't matter because you only study one time in history (the present), but in reality a lot of things can change it.
(One example of this is how JBF (just be first) theory can coexist in the same universe as the BP, even doe they essentially oppose eachother)

This is a very rough thing I wrote with the little time I have before starting my day, please add anything in the replies if you have to

TLDR FOR LOW TEST MOTHERFUCKERS: PEOPLE LIE, FACTORS EXTERNAL TO THE STUDY ARE USUALLY IGNORED, IF THERE IS EVEN A 5% CHANCE OF SOMETING BEING WRONG, ITS MOST LIKELY WRONG

Add a tldr for high test people next to the low test tldr so I can make a social study about the difference based on the people in this thread
