i can't describe what i'm felling but i will try, this is not about looks and it is more about why i can't make new friends because i can't find subjects to talk about with anybody.
why can't I make a single conversation with anybody? Why can't I find anyone with the same interests as me? Why does it feel like every person around me is interested in the exact same things, while anything even slightly different gets ignored or treated like it's weird? Why does every one of them have no political views, and if they do, you can prove them wrong with a few words, and then they will call you some stupid shit instead of actually trying to understand what you're saying or having a real argument?

Why does every single one of them know absolutely nothing about history or shit? Why do all of them know nothing about pharmacology and basic science? Why does nobody seem interested in understanding how anything actually works? Why do I have to explain basic concepts that I thought people my age would at least have some curiosity about? Why does it feel like nobody wants to learn anything unless they are forced to learn it for school?

Why does every conversation eventually turn into the same repetitive shit about relationships, sex, school drama, or whatever person is dating whoever? Why can't I have a conversation about biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, pharmacology, history, politics, philosophy, or literally anything that requires more than two brain cells? Why does it feel like having an actual interest in learning things makes you the weird one?

And I'm not saying everyone needs to be obsessed with the same things ,I just want to find someone who is actually curious about something. Someone who can tell me about something they learned recently. Someone who has an opinion that they actually thought about instead of repeating whatever they heard from their parents, friends, TikTok, or some random person at school.

Why does it feel like nobody has any real interests? Why does everyone seem to consume the same content, talk about the same things, make the same jokes, and then act like you're strange for being interested in something outside of that? Why do I have to constantly simplify what I'm saying because I already know the person I'm talking to probably won't understand what I'm talking about?

Why do I have to make or say something just to start a conversation when I already know it's probably going to go nowhere? Why can't someone else start a conversation about something interesting for once? Why is it always me trying to find something to talk about while the other person just gives one-word answers or changes the subject back to relationships, sex, school, or some pointless drama?

Why does having an actual interest in science, history, politics, psychology, or anything intellectual make me feel like such an outsider? I don't even need someone to agree with everything I say. I'd actually prefer someone who disagrees with me but can explain why. I want someone who can have an actual argument without immediately turning it into an insult because they don't know how to respond.

I want someone who can say, "I disagree, and here's why," instead of "you're stupid." I want someone who can admit when they don't know something instead of pretending they know everything. I want someone who can change their opinion when they are given evidence instead of treating every disagreement like a personal attack.

Why is that so difficult to find?

Maybe I'm just surrounded by the wrong people, but after meeting people at school and other places, it genuinely feels like I'm looking for something that barely exists around me. I don't need hundreds of friends. I don't even need ten friends. I would be completely fine with finding one person who I can actually have a meaningful conversation with without feeling like I'm wasting my time.

I don't care if they're into completely different things from me either. They don't have to like the same music, games, art, or whatever. I just want them to actually be curious. If they're obsessed with cars, astronomy, programming, art, history, biology, engineering, music theory, or some completely random subject I've never heard of, that's fine. At least there would be something there to talk about.

I don't understand why finding someone like that seems so difficult. I know people my age aren't supposed to know everything, and I don't expect them to. I'm not asking everyone to be some genius. I just want to meet someone who actually thinks about things, asks questions, has interests, and wants to learn.

Because honestly, being surrounded by people while still feeling completely alone is worse than simply being alone. At least when I'm alone, I can spend my time learning about whatever I actually care about instead of trying to force a conversation that neither of us is interested in.

So what am I supposed to do? Just accept that I'm probably not going to find anyone I can genuinely talk with? Do I just keep pretending to care about conversations that I don't care about? Do I keep trying to fit into groups where I already know I'm not going to feel understood?

I don't even know what I'm supposed to say anymore. and staying quiet don't help or fix anything...

what i'm 100% sure is the fact that you are a perfect example of what i said, a brain dead guy who didn't even see the prefix and decided to make a joke about the title because he can't agree or disagree due to him not begin able to read, I think i'm in the same tier as any other person but due to the fact you are less than a human you decided to call me egotistical lol

Problem: you have autism and normie subjects don't excite you.

Solution: find other aspies to talk with about aspie things.

Bro. You could have just said people don’t share the same as interest as me and they are stupid. Why don’t you like explaining things?
