You gotta learn how to be the one in charge and not apologize or worry about having to explain it to her or anybody else.

Most men's hands are tied in their relationships because they feel like they have to justify they roles they play within them. You ain't gotta do that. There is no right or wrong and let the chips fall where they may. There's no other way to have a decent relationship, so get comfortable with making the whole world uncomfortable.

You know what I've noticed? During the last 5 years, which I lived in USA, nobody threw any kind of crazy my way. The usually drama birds only had meaningful adult interactions with me.
