It's ok. Some people are just not photogenic. I too look at myself in the mirror and see a totally different person. And many in here would be shocked as to how different it was irl, since they have only ever seen me in android distortion.

What I'll say is get a good camera. I am waiting till I am totally leaned down and going gym, using all equipment rather than working out from home, before I do that. By proper I mean a lens as good as 1.2-1.4. DSLR and then take pics and videos.

There is always distortion no matter how far you are away from lens, but some people's distortion looks good. With a better spec lens/camera your distortion will be friendlier on the eye. I know it's frustrating and confusing because you feel people should be able to see what you really look like irl, but the truth and the reality is we can't, because we've never seen you irl and so this is all we have to go off. Based on this you are average and average with a very bad height. You don't look 5'8, honestly. I am 5'8 and you look 5'6 tops. Again it's probably just the camera doing it's wonders again.

Many people who aren't accepting of what the selfie android/iphone camera does manipulate the angle, or simply photoshop. I see no point in doing that, esp for when uploading on here, where you're here to improve your looks and discuss idea/methods etc with OTHER MEN.
