I'd rather be a bald but confident masculine man, than have hair and be an anxious, neurotic and feminized one. Testosterone and DHT are extremely important and poison finasteride fucks them up.

for many guys, especially white, hairtransplant without finasteride isnt an option. if you look at old white guys, the one who are balding, often dont stop at norwood 3 but at least keep balding to norwood 5-7 territory. if you reach this stage, you wont get sufficient density and coverage, simply because you lack the donor hair to cover such huge areas. only some ethnics with very thick and coarse hair can cover norwood 5 area (but not beyond that) sufficienly in some rare cases

so if you are norwood 3 in your late tweentiws and you get an ht, then there is a high chance you will keep balding behind the transplant (to norwood 5 for example) which look extremely shit. its no coincidence that majority of hair surgeons tell their patients to go on finasteride after ht. ironically many of their patients who were strongly against finasteride before wiill follow their advice now, simply bc they experienced the horror of being bald now

also, you have to be careful with ht. even with low norwoods they are alwqys risk. risks that the transplanted hair doesnt grow are way higher then finasteride side effects for example. so if you expect the worst from finasteride, you should alsl calculate with the worst possible outcome of an ht.


so if you are againsr finasteride and you are not 100% sure you wont bald beyond norwood 4 (meaning you have zero male relative with a norwood 5-7, everything else is a bet) you should forget about ht

your only solution will be then hairpiece (or accepting that your dating life is over). if you have a hairpiece..its very bad for long term because you wont be able to live that lie forever. also you need to explain (if you wait too long) how you gained all your hair back to your friends, family, colleagues. everyone will know. also - you can be eventoo bald for hairpiece. if your side hair thins out too much then it would be too obvious.
