Because most of the people getting jaw implants are obese low inhib 48 year old white collar hedge fund analyst silver foxes that need 3 cm bimaxes but instead slap on a big implant in their high cortisol bloated water bed face


Even if you have a large jaw bone it will look like shit if you're high bodyfat

Because bimax is fixing the root cause: your jaws are recessed. If you slap a giant jaw implant around a recessed jaw, your teeth are still too far back in profile view when talking/smiling. Also it depends on the design. If you have normal jaws you can do a very thing wrap around of like 2mm and it looks natural. Don't ever go to Eppley lol.

Problem is upper jaws/teeth are usually recessed too, I think they look better when they align with the forehead against the Frankfurt plane.
