Why is a 5/10 rating average when the average person is like 40

Shouldn't you be with a 5/10 Rating at 20 much higher percentile than 50% assuming the average population age in your area is at least above like 30? In my opinion the bell curve should be positively skewed. For example 4(four)/10 should be the 50th percentile or even higher, when talking about the whole population in the USA.

Pretty much all ratings are based on 18-30 year old population, maintaining your looks as you age will obviously make you considerably better looking relative to your peers but most people who are into this stuff are young

Yeah I was wondering about that. I've seen a well known looksmaxxer in my country rate a 40 year old average ass looking guy 30th percentile which doesn't make a whole lot of sense since he quite literally looks like an average person

you're right , the dead avg of most countries especially in asia would be mid-high ltn (4.3-4.8) while mtn (5-6) is actually above avg , but in this case when we are rating someone , we take a standard age group which is usually (25-30) into account. , although the dead avg of the standard age group let us say 25-30 in scandinavian countries would probably be low mtn maybe even mid mtn which makes sense considering how brutal the dating market is there
