Why is a “self-improvement” forum full of people who don’t help anyone improve?

Most of the people on this forum act like it’s a self improvement space but don’t actually help for shit. Every time someone asks for advice it turns into people talking smack or acting like everything is already over instead of giving anything useful. If you’ve already given up on yourself that’s your problem and you're a incell but constantly projecting that mindset onto everyone else just makes the whole place worse. The point is to get better, not sit around repeating the same shit everyday and pretending it’s “realism.” If you’re not going to offer actual advice or constructive criticism then there’s no reason to comment at all, because all it does is ruin the forum
