I have to agree that Arabic doesn’t sound nice, but its double and even triple meanings make it a beautiful language from an linguistic point of view.

As the other posters say, Arabic does sound quite harsh and guttural, however that only really applies to someone who speaks aggressively and loudly (which is how many Arabs speak naturally jfl)

When spoken softly, Arabic can have a calm or even melodic tone
