why is being taller more attractive?

in nature it doesnt have any advantages at all. bigger body that needs more food and shit.
one theory i have is that they are that big in the first place because they can actually get the food they need so its not a problem?

Of course it has advantages, tall people typically have bigger, wider and longer Skelettal Frame which allows for more muscle mass to be put on
