Why is cancer more scary than a heart attack?

I find cancer scary as fuck. Imagine learning you are going to die soon. I mean tomorrow I might have a deadly accident or in 5 minutes I might die of a heart attack but that shit doesn't scare me. Because I will just drop dead and life is meaningless anyway. But imagine you are sitting there and you are still alive while knowing you are pretty much fucked. That is what makes it so fucking scary.
