Culture is the driving force in normies lives. They don't think they just listen to the leaders about what is or isnt culturally acceptable. Thats why people were smoking 2 packs a day in the 40s and didnt think it was a problem. They didnt stop because the science proved it was unhealthy, they stopped because the culture shifted and viewed cigarettes negatively. But alcohol has been around for a lot longer, long before jesus was born, so I feel like it will take a lot more to get the normies to give it up.
