Why is every model from a high class background?

You don't often see models that are from working class peasant families. There are some exceptions ofc but almost every model is from a high class home and got into modelling because they know/met someone in the industry. Why is that?

lifestyle botches men way harder than women, as a result they just tend to pop up randomly when the conditions are right.

they're not necessarily from poor families though, just not well known ones, doesn't scream silver spoon like it tends to be the case with some.

One reason could be higher class people (men in general) tend to have better genetics or tend to marry women with better genetics for looks which can pass over to the offspring. Im sure there are other reasons too

For a variety of reasons like half of the more famous female models are the daughters of former top models. Of course those former top models would be married to fairly high economic status men.

But not all models are from rich familes, Taylor Hill's family was not rich.
