your algorithm knows that you engage with certain content and puts you in categories. other people like you build a matrix of content that you and million other people see and then calculates 'if you engage with x, y, z like this group, we will show you l, m, n as well' and idk if I explained it well enough ngl but basically

you engage with the content so even if it frustrates you don't engage with that cause you will echo chamber yourself into content that you hate watch
