why is everyone running higher doses of hgh for short periods?

From what I am aware smaller doses (e.g 3IU ED for 12 months) is superior to higher doses (e.g 6IU ed for 6 months). So why is the 2nd option more common?

hgh isnt even that expensive assuming you are a teenager with a job. and if you are doing hgh for height doing 3 ius is like nothing. 10+ or just do cope like cjc/ipa instead
