From what I’ve found online, the only reported cases of blindness and vision issues were in people with severe Graves’ disease where large chunks of bone near the optic nerve had to be removed for the eyes to fall back. If you’re getting some soft tissue behind the eye removed for a slightly more deep set look, the chance of blindness is close to zero, about as risky as eyelid surgery according to a surgeon on realfself. I guess people here are so low t and high inhib that they would rather be stuck with subhuman bug eyes than run an extremely extremely low risk of going blind.

If you’re super high inhib, you could ask the surgeon to perform it on one eye first and if you don’t go blind you can go back later and do it on the other eye. Worst comes to worst, you’ll still have vision in one eye
