feels like in america, whenever you do anything at all, people interpret it as your whole personality

if chad reads a book in the usa, its assumed he has something deeply wrong with hiim that you just cant see, but in germany that's not a big deal.

Good observation, it's a question I have pondered myself. I will try and write my analysis on it to the best of my abilities.

It seems that in the vast expanse of the United States, the notion of personality holds an unyielding grip on the social fabric. Consider, if you will, the tale of a handsome gentleman engrossed in the pages of a profound literary work. In the realms of American society, an unspoken assumption arises, whispered behind cupped hands and raised eyebrows: "There must be something deeply awry with this young man." Alas, his attractive countenance belies the complexity of his intellect, leaving bystanders to ponder the hidden demons that must surely reside within.

In Deutschland, the act of a comely soul embracing the written word carries not the weight of suspicion, but rather a sense of admiration for the quest of knowledge. The Germans, it seems, possess a sensibility that transcends the mere surface, recognizing that beauty need not be an affliction but a mere stroke of fortune. A symphony of appreciation for intellectual pursuits, unfettered by the chains of preconceived notions, echoes through the air.

Americans are overly emotional and jump to conclusions too easily. It’s one of the worst countries to live in if you are sentient. Everyone here is a drone.
